Order Processing Schedule
You can place a secure order on our website year-round. Express Orders received before 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time normally ship the same day. Other orders normally ship within one to two business days of receipt of your order. Exceptions to this schedule may occur on the day following a three-day weekend and during the weeks of the Christmas season.
Ordering a gift for Christmas? Here is our 2011 Holiday Ordering Processing Schedule:
United States Orders
Before December 10
Standard shipping using the US postal service should work fine. In our experience however, UPS is a much more reliable shipping provider during the holiday season. In our experience, it’s worth spending the extra few dollars that UPS charges to ensure a timely delivery.
December 10-16
Standard shipping will probably be fast enough, but if your order absolutely must arrive in time for Christmas, please choose an expedited method of shipping.
December 17-22
We recommend Next-day shipping for reliable Christmas delivery. Please note that bad weather may still delay delivery until after Christmas.
December 22, noon (Eastern Standard Time)
Latest time to place an order for Christmas delivery. This is the last day we will be shipping domestic orders for Christmas delivery. You must choose an overnight method of delivery. Please note that bad weather may still delay delivery until after Christmas.
Orders to APO/FPO (military) addresses
December 4
Last day to place an order to be shipped to a military (APO, FPO) address for a Christmas delivery.
International orders
Before December 4
Based on our experience, standard shipping using the US postal service SHOULD work fine. Please note that customs delays and/or other circumstances beyond our control may delay delivery until after Christmas.
December 5-16
Next day or 2-day shipping is required for a timely delivery. Please note that bad weather and/or customs may still delay delivery until after Christmas.
December 17
Last day to place an order for a Christmas delivery. This is the last day we will be shipping internationally for Christmas delivery. Next day shipping is required. Please note that delivery may be delayed, however, by customs inspection, bad weather, or the heavy Christmas shipping rush.
A note to our International Customers: Our website does not calculate duties, customs, VAT or any other import fees. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay any additional fees that are assessed and collected by a third party such as your local government, postal service or any other entity unrelated to Magical Bells.
How do you ship your products to the United States? For US orders, we prefer using UPS during the holiday season due to their superior reliability and tracking ability. In our experience it’s worth spending a few extra dollars for a UPS delivery. They provide detailed tracking information and have an excellent track record of getting our packages delivered on time. We also offer USPS Priority Mail as a standard shipping option. PLEASE NOTE: If you choose “Priority Mail” as your method of shipment, you will NOT have access to DETAILED tracking information for your order. We ship using “USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation”. This provides you with the date, ZIP Code and the time that your package is delivered.
How do you ship your products Internationally? We offer three methods of shipping for our International customers. 1) Global Express Mail with Detailed Tracking Information. 2) Priority Mail International. Priority Mail International provides tracking details to Major Destinations. It tells you when it left the country and the date it entered into the foreign country, the date it arrived at the foreign customs office and the date that it is out for delivery. 3) First Class International Mail. This is the most cost effective method of shipping but please note that this form of shipping DOES NOT provide you with tracking details for your order.
